The Talisman, redesigned for 2026. For luck.

This year, I took the 3rd knife I made over 6 years ago and redesigned it from the ground up. This Talisman has been updated with refined lines and increased purpose. Most notably, it is available for the first time in CPM Magnacut. This is one of my favorite knives.

The Talisman blends the timeless grace of a traditional bird-and-trout blade with the everyday practicality of a fixed blade pocket knife. The slender, tapered blade is crafted for precision, perfect for cleaning small game, processing fish, or handling fine camp tasks.

It’s a versatile tool refined enough for the sportsman, reliable enough for the outdoorsman, and stylish enough to be an heirloom piece carried every day.

Named "The Good Boy" after my late, great dog, Maki, the perfect companion. This knife was designed as a small EDC fixed blade. It is lightweight, nimble, and handsome. Sporting a utilitarian drop-point blade profile and compact size, The Good Boy is the perfect everyday companion. The full flat-ground AEB-l stainless, 0.10” thick with a distal taper and hollowed tang, makes this knife capable of handling anything from Amazon packages to dressing small game.

Named Artio, after the Celtic Bear Goddess, this knife was developed alongside avid big-game hunters who demand performance in the field. At roughly 7.5 inches overall, it offers a nimble, well-balanced feel for precise control when breaking down game.

A key feature is its hollowed tang, which reduces weight without sacrificing strength, bringing the balance point forward for a more responsive, fatigue-reducing experience during extended use.

The utilitarian drop point blade provides ample belly, making the Artio an excellent skinner as well as a versatile field knife. Its full flat ground AEB-L Stainless steel blade, measuring 0.09" thick, delivers exceptional slicing performance while remaining tough enough to handle joint work with confidence.

Nemesis was the Greek goddess of retribution, balance, and justice. Specifically, justice against arrogance, cruelty, and those who thought they were untouchable.

1095 High-carbon steel is tough and easily takes an edge. One of my absolute favorites. 1095 is not stainless and will patina with use over time.

Well balanced and nimble in the hand, yet large enough for camp chores and survival tasks. Would make a statement on the belt or ride concealed as a vest knife. Check your local laws.

Hecate is the Greek goddess of witchcraft, the night, the moon, ghosts, and necromancy. She is thought to guard doorways and thresholds. She rules over transformation, death, and rebirth. Black dogs, her constant companions, mark her presence at the boundary between worlds.
